Kamara tou Koraka

Kamara tou Koraka, the Crow's Arch, is a natural sea arch on the coast of Cape Greco, cut through the limestone headland by the sea. It is the most photographed formation on this stretch of coastline and one of the most recognisable natural features in Cyprus, standing clear of the cliff with the open Mediterranean behind it.

The arch sits on the coastal path that runs around the cape between Ayia Napa and Protaras, and the walk to it is short and level from the nearest parking. The rock here is pale and heavily weathered, the water below is exceptionally clear, and the whole headland is part of the Cape Greco national forest park, so the surroundings are scrub and low juniper rather than development. Early morning and late afternoon are when the light works, and sunrise here is popular enough that you will rarely have it entirely to yourself.

The arch has been visibly eroding for years and sections have collapsed, so the authorities discourage walking out onto it. The views from the path and the cliff either side are better anyway, and the same walk takes in the sea caves, the viewpoint and the chapel of Agioi Anargyroi within a short distance.
