Your journey begins at AtatĂĽrk Cultural Center, located just 250 meters opposite Kyrenia Gate, a significant entry point to the Walled City of Nicosia. From the starting point, pedal towards Kyrenia Gate, a notable entrance to the historic Walled City. Take a brief pause here to learn some interesting facts about this gate.

Cycle from Kyrenia Gate to Saman Bahce in just a few minutes- the city's first public housing project.

The Venetian Column
Cycle along the historic streets of old Nicosia, arriving at the Venetian Column. Stop here to learn more about this beautiful landmark which is located on the central roundabout in the Turkish part of the Walled city. This is a great spot for photos.

Ledra Street Crossing Point
Cycle past the old post office to Ledra Palace Border, where you'll experience the unique sensation of crossing into another culture within the same city in moments. Here be ready to experience crossing the border of the only divided capital in the world.

Medieval Venetian Walls
Along the route, catch sight of Paphos Gate, another significant entryway, and one of the eleven bastions overlooking the border. Here, you'll notice the Turkish side above and the Greek side below. At the park, admire the historic walls that once safeguarded the city and nearby gardens offering a perfect point for memorable photographs.

5. En route to Elefteria Square, discover the third main entrance gate called Famagusta Gate and learn about its significance. Upon arrival to the square, take a moment to admire the square's elegant design, inviting you to explore its surroundings and capture its beauty through your lens.

We'll pedal through a bustling pedestrian street in the south of Cyprus, lined with diverse shops. Depending on the crowd, we may walk certain sections. At the end of this street, we will cross the North side again.

A brief stroll leads us to the island's largest inns, The Great Inn and Gamblers’ Inn. Locals frequent these spots for traditional Cypriot Turkish coffee. The Great Inn boasts a bustling souvenir market, while Gamblers’ Inn is surrounded by cozy cafes. Here, we stop for about 15 minutes at a local coffee shop for a drink just like the locals do.

Bandabulya Municipal Market
Pedal through historic streets and go to the heart of the historic walls, where you'll discover the perfect spot equally distant from all eleven bastions. Along the way, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the Bandabulya Municipality market, brimming with an array of fresh produce, local fruits, and traditional treasures.
