You’ll step into the timeless charm of Lefkara Village, where lace-making and silverwork have been passed down for generations, before experiencing the only divided capital in the world - Nicosia. Crossing the Green Line at Ledra Street takes you into two different worlds in one city, from Venetian walls and Ottoman heritage to modern Cypriot life. Visiting Büyük Han, a beautifully restored 16th-century caravanserai, adds an authentic touch of history. This journey provides an unparalleled insight into Cyprus’ rich past and evolving present, making it a truly one of a kind experience.

Pano Lefkara
Visit to Lefkara, a charming village famous for its Lefkaritika lace and silverwork. We will walk through the cobbled streets, visit local artisans’ workshops, and learn about the intricate lace-making tradition, which has been passed down through generations. Highlight: Short demonstration of lacemaking and the Lefkara Handicraft Museum to learn more about the village’s cultural heritage.

Nicosia
Guided walk through the Old Town of Nicosia. We will visit landmarks of Nicosia. Learn about Nicosia’s rich history, spanning from ancient times through the Ottoman and British eras to its current divided state.

Buyuk Han
Cross into Occupied Nicosia and Visit Büyük Han Activity: We will cross over the Green Line at Ledra Street to the occupied side of Nicosia (passport or EU ID needed). Visit to Büyük Han, a beautifully restored 16th-century Ottoman caravanserai, now home to artisan workshops, cafes, and galleries. Highlight: Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and discover local crafts in Han’s courtyard.

Passport holders of the following countries are not allowed to cross the green line check points to the North Cyprus unless they have a special visa issued by the authorities of the Turkish-occupied area: 1. Armenia 2. Syria 3. Nigeria 4. Turkmenistan 5. India 6. Bangladesh 7. Nepal 8. Ukrainian citizens living in Cyprus with a refugee status 9. Greek citizens with the old ID cards handwritten with a pen. Greek citizens are allowed to cross if they have EU ID cards or a passport.
Only original documents can be used for crossing. Photocopies of the original documents, or other forms of identification (e.g., driving licenses, temporary residence permits, etc.) cannot be used for crossing.
