Overview
Experience the green heart of Cyprus in the Troodos Mountains with its pines and fir forests. After a stop at the second largest dam, the drive through the idyllic Diarizos valley leads to the Venetian Tselefos bridge. With a little luck, you will discover mouflons, the wild sheep of Cyprus.
ES continues to the famous Kykkos Monastery with its precious Marie icon. After lunch, visit a UNESCO-protected barn roof church and enjoy the view from a traditional mountain village.
In the wine region, taste fine wines directly at the winery. On the way back, explore the wine village of Omodhos with its historic monastery and the oldest wine press in Cyprus. End the day at the legendary Petra tou Romiou, the birthplace of Aphrodite.
