    About Geroskipou

Geroskipou lies immediately east of Paphos and has kept a character distinct from its larger neighbour. Its name descends from the ancient sacred gardens of Aphrodite, and the village square is still the centre of local life.

It is known across Cyprus for loukoumi, made here by the same families for well over a century, and for the church of Agia Paraskevi, an unusual five domed Byzantine building with wall paintings spanning several periods.
